A Day in the life at Chiorino UK

Welcome to the Chiorino Internal Sales team! We are a 5-strong team comprising of Internal Sales Manager Debbie and four Internal Sales Admins – Jade, Jess, Rebecca and Amy.

A typical day in the office usually starts with a morning production meeting; this allows us to co-ordinate with the production and dispatch departments and get a view of how the next 48 hours will pan out. From this meeting we get a better understanding of the current workload and any special tasks that require our attention, as well as any changes to our production programme. We also get updates for our on-site installation schedule, which enables us to respond quickly to customer requirements should they contact us for a fitting.

With the morning meeting concluded, we have our platform from which we work. This includes order processing, customer quotations, arranging samples and literature, linking up with our European branches for any special production items and liaising with courier companies for same-day deliveries, as well as acting as trusted advisors to our customers, helping and reassuring them in any way we can. In the office we try to rotate the workload and tasks equally, taking turns answering the phone and monitoring the sales email inbox.

We are currently implementing training for all the new and upcoming products that are being introduced into our range, as well as brushing up on our current product knowledge. Recently, we all took part in a three-part refresher Customer Service course with the aim of continuing to provide the best possible service for all current and prospective clients.

Once a week we hold an Operations & Quality meeting with our colleagues from Sales, Production and Accounts. This allows us all to get a clear picture of how the company is performing, if there is anything we need to be aware of, if there are any exciting developments that we can look forward to and if there are any company events to mark on our calendars.
